Hi,
Hope your all keeping cool in this heat, just a couple of things to
highlight in the next few days, firstly we will be going out for a curry on
Friday 3rd at East & West on Abbeydale Road
www.eastnwest.net just turn up a
7.30pm as there's no need to book.
On Sat 4th we have a stall at Sharrow Festival, we are in need of people
to help on the stall so if you can spare some time please get in touch or
just come down and pick up a bargain as all money raised goes towards the
group!
On Mon 5th we have our monthly meeting at The Fat Cat pub
www.thefatcat.co.uk at 6.30pm,
come down and help decide about upcoming actions. The summer is uselly a
quieter time for the group as people go away on holidays or the students
who are involved in term time return home for the summer months. So we'd
like to appeal to anyone with a bit of spare time over the summer to get
come and get involved!
Lastly a couple of things we've recieved from fellow activists in other
parts of the country:
West Yorks: A young, male lab cross is in need of a foster or permenant
home, he is good with kids and has a friendly nature. Please email
animalrightswestyorks@yahoo.com for more info or if you
can provide a home for him.
Bristol area: There is a job going at a charity shop called 'Animals In
Mind' in Weston Super Mare, it would be necessary to move down there, but
you would have accommodation included where animal companions would be
welcome and use of the charities car as well. So if you're looking to make
a change in your life email
barc@hotmail.co.uk
Cheers, SAF
