Saturday 6th June, 11:00-15:00, Fargate, Sheffield City Centre - We have a street collection permit to raise money for the Captive Animals' Protection Society (CAPS) this Saturday. CAPS are an excellent organisation who work tirelessly for animals in zoos and circuses and other forms of 'entertainment' and imprisonment. Please come down for any length of time you can, it would be really great to raise as much money as possible for this organisation. Monday 8th June, 18:15, Showroom Cinema, Paternoster Row, Sheffield City Centre - There is a one off showing of the documentary film The End of the Line at the Showroom next week. The book it's based on is excellent, and by the looks of the trailer it looks like being a powerful portrayal of our rape of the oceans. Monday 8th June, 20:00, Showroom Cinema Bar, Paternoster Row, Sheffield City Centre - We weren't able to have our monthly meeting this week, so we will have it next Monday, after the film showing. Of course people are able to come to the film but not the meeting, or vice versa.
